Veterinarian (Part-Time)
The Rogue Valley Humane Society is seeking a compassionate, skilled veterinarian to join our team. As a small, community-focused organization, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality care to both shelter animals and pets belonging to the public.
This position focuses primarily on high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter (HQHVSN) surgery for shelter pets, community members, rescue partners, and Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) programs. In addition, this role includes serving as a shelter veterinarian, providing medical exams, diagnostics, and treatment plans for animals in our care. Our shelter operates with established medical protocols and is supported by an experienced, well-trained team.
Our clinic is efficient, organized allowing you to focus on patient care and surgical excellence. We may expand services in the future to include community vaccine clinics.
Schedule:
Part-time, averaging 24 - 30 hours per week
Hours - Monday - Thursday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with flexibility
Qualifications:
Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Oregon
Minimum of 5 years of surgical experience, including HQHVSN techniques
Benefits:
