Job Description

The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach is seeking a compassionate, mission-driven veterinarian to join our lifesaving team.

This position offers the opportunity to practice shelter medicine, perform spay/neuter surgeries, provide care for shelter animals, and help expand access to veterinary services in our community. We are looking for a veterinarian who is passionate about animal welfare and excited to help shape the future of our veterinary programs.

**Responsibilities include:**

* Shelter medicine and population health management
* Spay/neuter surgery
* Wellness and preventive care
* Medical protocol development
* Staff training and collaboration
* Community veterinary initiatives

**Qualifications:**

* DVM or equivalent degree
* South Carolina veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
* DEA license (or ability to obtain)
* Strong commitment to animal welfare
* Shelter medicine experience preferred but not required

**Salary:** $120,000–$150,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
