Job Description

The Veterinary Technician provides comprehensive medical care and support for shelter and community animals, including assisting with exams, treatments, diagnostics, and surgical procedures. This role works closely with veterinarians and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality patient care, support population health, and maintain accurate medical records. Combining advanced clinical skills with compassionate care, the Veterinary Technician plays a critical role in improving animal health outcomes and strengthening the human-animal bond within the community.

Qualifications – Education & Experience:

- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Two or more years of experience as a veterinary technician in an animal hospital or shelter.
- One to two years of progressively responsible experience in an open admittance animal shelter preferred.
- Certified or licensed Veterinarian Technician are strongly encouraged to apply.
