Job Description

The Volunteer Manager role at Halifax Humane Society is critical to the organization's lifesaving efforts. This role is exclusively responsible for planning, organizing, and directing volunteer programs and ensuring the delivery of excellent experiences for agency volunteers. Success in this role will be determined by the ability to identify volunteer needs within the organization and recruit, train, and supervise sufficient volunteers to fulfill those needs. Excellent feedback from active volunteers and strong program performance metrics are measures of success.
