RAVS clinic schedule
Rural Area Veterinary Services
The volunteer application for 2026 RAVS clinics will be available on the following schedule:
- November 5, 2025: 2026 clinic schedule posted
- November 7, 2025: Applications accepted for 2026 clinics
- December 1, 2025: Deadline for veterinary student and veterinary technician student volunteer AND scholarship applications
Professional & Support Volunteers: Applications for professional volunteers will be accepted on an ongoing basis until all rosters and waitlists have been filled. Processing and communications regarding professional volunteer applications for clinics in May-August will begin in January 2026.
NOTE: ALL volunteers (student, professional and support volunteers) interested in clinics scheduled January-March should apply as soon as possible!
Applicants from all backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to apply. Please check back regularly for schedule updates and new opportunities.
Veterinary Students: Participating in two consecutive clinic weeks is an excellent opportunity for students to maximize learning and skill development. Student volunteers are highly encouraged to apply for a two-week experience whenever possible. Depending on applications and community logistics, students may be accepted for just one or both of their requested clinics but students available for both weeks will generally be given priority.

2026 Travel Scholarships Available!
Thanks to a generous grant from the Banfield Foundation, a limited number of travel scholarships will be available for RAVS 2026 clinic volunteers. Interested candidates must submit BOTH clinic volunteer application AND scholarship application to be eligible for scholarship consideration.
